Do you ever just love your critters so much that you almost feel like you might explode? That is how I feel all the time. I love them so much.

On another note, Sally isn’t using her leg today. Maybe it is the weather. I am glad x-rays are this Friday. I am trying not to worry, but I am. These legs cause worry a lot.

I apologize if posts are sporadic. I am trying to get packed, deal with the critters and sally stuff, and finish up stuff here in Portland. Don’t give up on us, though! We will soon have lots of stories to tell with seven dogs living in an airstream. haha.

Have a heart! Donate to The Mutt Scouts! Go to their blog here. They have had a lot of vet bills lately with all these new skinny and sick dogs. Their chipin is ending in a few days and I would like to give them as much as possible.

So don’t get your mocha or scone for today and chipin 5 bucks to a great cause! Every dime counts and is so appreciated!

I LOVE Phoebe. When I say LOVE, I mean LLOOOOOOOOOVE. She is my little shadow.

I remember when I first got her. She was so scared and she would grr… at all the dogs. Probably because I had her in an x-pen. When I first get dogs I always keep them separated at first.

But soon she integrated into the pack and Ansli became her very best friend. I LOVE Phoebe as much as she LOVES Ansli. She will clean her ears and her eyes and Ansli doesn’t like the other dogs to touch her that much, mostly Edi, but she lets Phoebe do whatever she wants. Oh! and Phoebe LOVES food as much as Ansli too.

Yesterday we went on a very long walk out back while the sun was out. She had the best time and just followed me everywhere and a couple times had to see what Conrad was eating – a bone. EEK! She likes to harass Conrad, but that is what good Grandma’s do, right!?

All I can say is I LOVE PHOEBE BELLS so so SOOO much.

I don’t have a photo to share – I am sorry.

I am so tired from the weirdness of this week and Sally. We went to the vet tonight to check out that blood blister thing and a lump found on her neck and to get blood work for next week’s surgery. It turned out to be nothing yet, but next week will require 4-6 x-rays to check the metal ( the metal is so much the wrong fit for her little leg that it is sticking out further).

I am so tired of this expense and stress, I can’t even begin to talk about Phoebe or anyone else right now. I am doing what I have to do. Even if I had to – I would sell my own kidney to pay for her. I want her to be ok. We are moving in two weeks, I am worried about not having a vet, but my vet here is so amazing that she said I can call and email anytime. Anyways, I am too tired to be positive and have a sunny disposition for this post, but I wanted to keep her fans updated. We are tired. Maybe tomorrow will be more sunshine.

Oh! and check out this guy. i have talked about him before when Millie passed. He walks for canine cancer. He is truly amazing.

please. NOooo. puuhhhleaze…. NOOO. for the love of god. NOOOO

let’s all think good thoughts that nothing is wrong right now. I just sent a photo to her vet and it looks like sally misses her again. Freaking sally! I guess we are going back in the next couple days. Sally loves her vet so much that we have to see her every couple weeks. bwhaha

oh and don’t forget surgery on the 12th and bloodwork the 10th after this visit. OMG.

I really can’t take anything else with these legs. It is already the worst situation ever and we are moving at the end of the month. REMIND me NOT to freak out.

Sally is schedule for surgery YET again. Although, this is on her mouth. Several teeth need to be extracted and a mass removed. Yes, it has gotten worse since this photo. Poor girl has trouble eating…

Luckily, she can have x-rays taken of her legs while she is under the happy gas. She isn’t walking well, it makes me so sad and angry.

Anyways. Bloodwork will be done on the 10th and her surgery and x-rays on the 12th. This will cost a small fortune so I really hope we will win the HGTV dreamhome in 16 days. Carrie is my competition, but I am sure she would let me, the dogs and my new airstream stay at her new home in the casita if she wins.

We move from Portland in 3 weeks, so lots to do. This is a very unexpected move, but the desert and sun call our name. I wish I had a personal vet traveling with us. Oh well.

On a very strange side note. Why does my huge 75 pound lab like to sit behind me in my chair while I am on the computer. There is not enough room and her nose is very cold as she pushes my face over and over again. Very strange dogs I live with.
